Key-duplication manufacturer · Global
Context
A global manufacturer, a leader in keys, key-cutting and duplication systems, was extending its hardware into a cloud-connected platform, and needed that software to be as dependable as the machines it ran alongside.
Challenge
Take a security-critical duplication product onto a cloud platform, where the sensitive calculations run server-side and the latest routines must always reach devices in the field, without eroding the reliability customers expect of the physical product or the trust they place in it.
Approach
We architected the platform end to end: a cloud service that performs the sensitive duplication logic centrally (so field devices always run the latest routines without manual updates), tenant isolation and a data path resilient to variable field networks.
Outcome
The platform now serves 75,000+ businesses worldwide, and underpins the company's cloud key-duplication offering across its global market.

Automotive diagnostics · UK & North America
Context
An automotive diagnostics manufacturer was building portable, cloud-connected devices for professionals in the field, and needed a dependable way for those devices to talk to companion apps and the cloud across every platform and network condition.
Challenge
Give a portable field device one secure, reliable communication path to its apps and cloud, resilient to poor connectivity and hostile networks, and design it to outlast the single product it was first built for.
Approach
We designed the device messaging framework and device API end to end: one protocol across every platform, hardened with per-device identity and mutual TLS, with a clean contract between device, app and cloud.
Outcome
The design proved robust enough to become the company's standard communication backbone, now connecting 25,000+ deployed devices and adopted across its entire cloud-connected product line, including the next-generation flagship now being built on it.

Fleet-management software · UK
Context
A UK fleet-management software company had a mature on-premise product at the core of hundreds of workshops, hauliers and fleet operators, but no way for drivers and technicians in the field to feed into it directly.
Challenge
Extend a long-established on-premise system out to the field with cloud-connected mobile apps that sync cleanly back to the core product, without disrupting the system businesses already ran on.
Approach
We built the cloud-connected mobile apps and the sync layer that ties them to the on-premise core, then packaged them as a per-seat product line the company could license on top of its existing base.
Outcome
The apps opened a new per-seat revenue stream that doubled the company's profit, while the long-established on-premise system at the core keeps running the businesses that rely on it.
